Taipei, Taiwan — AAEON, a major developer of industrial computing solutions, is pleased to introduce new Industrial computing products based on the latest multi-core Intel® Atom™ processors for greater performance with higher processing bandwidth and enhanced power management. As many industrial computing applications are expanding in complexity and scope, control systems need to be ever more intuitive, efficient and flexible in their ability to process data in an ever-widening range of environments.  AAEON, utilizing the latest Intel processors, is unveiling products that meet these new challenges head-on with new intelligent systems and platforms.

For applications such as Digital Signage, Infotainment, Kiosk and Human Machine Interface, the enhanced graphical capabilities of this new processor family will provide more engaging visuals, more details through higher resolutions and a better overall user experience than those offered by its predecessors. For transportation, industrial automation and field operation applications, these new systems will offer higher levels of continuous reliability, as well as robust security and better energy efficiency than before.

The EMB-BT1 Mini-ITX motherboard features the latest Intel Atom processors with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory at 1333MHz using Dual channel memory architecture. The integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator enables more power efficient graphics over previous generations. The system features two Gigabit Ethernet controllers that provide network-ready connectivity with two RJ-45 ports. This Mini-ITX platform features nine USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 ports and six COM ports for expansion among its I/O options. It also hosts a PCIe slot and both a full and half sized Mini Card Slot as well as connection options for two SATA 3.0 and two SATA 2.0 storage drives. This feature laden SBC also allows for multiple HD display configurations via VGA+LVDS, VGA+HDMI or LVDS+HDMI.

The EMB-BT2 Mini-ITX motherboard features a choice of new Intel Atom or Celeron processors based on the 22nm architecture, including J1900, E3845 or E3815 with the perfect balance of performance, features and power consumption to keep systems up and running with maximum efficiency. The EMB-BT2 offers either a one SODIMM max. 8GB, DDR3L 1066 MHz, non-ECC, un-buffered memory, Single channel memory module or a two SODIMM, max. 8GB, DDR3L 1333 MHz memory depending on the selected CPU. It also offers robust expansion options via its Full-size Mini Card (PCIe +USB) and Half-size Mini Card (mSATA, colay with SATA port), PCIe and PCI ports. Connectivity is also enhanced by its array of 10 USB ports and 8-bit Digital I/O interface. This power optimized Mini-ITX board utilizes an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator to support Full HD multimedia via its VGA+LVDS or Dual LVDS ports and audio via its Line out Mic-in and audio amplifier.

The AEC-6614 Fanless Embedded Controller with Intel SoC offers robust fanless computing solutions for transportation, digital signage and industrial automation applications with up to 8GB of DDR3(L) memory support. It hosts a CFast™ Slot (w/Cover protection) and a 2.5" SATA HDD bay for storage and OS applications. This durable box PC is equipped with Dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, one USB3.0 and three USB2.0 ports in addition to two PCI Express Mini Card slots in both Full-size and Half-size configurations for excellent connectivity. This compact energy efficient unit also features full HD visuals via its VGA and HDMI ports.

The Full HD ACP-5214 21.5" Fanless Multi-Touch Computer with an Intel Atom E3827 Processor, packs a powerful small form factor computing system into visually appealing display for information panels, digital signage and other interactive applications. It features an Easy-To-Clean Multi-Touch panel design, IP65 Front Bezel IPX1 Back Chassis with Anti-Scratch surface for durability and protection from dripping water. Behind its elegantly designed exterior, it incorporates some of the most cutting-edge panel design concepts, while offering stunning HD visuals controlled by the latest Atom SoC. With wide viewing angles and vivid colors, this projected capacitive multi-touch screen can be installed in check-in counters to research labs, or used to liven up retail product displays.

The EMB-BTA Mini-ITX Motherboard capitalizes on processor power efficiencies from Intel with a new quad-core SoC Intel Atom processor E3845 Quad Core processor and up to 8GB of DDR3L system memory. The dual Gigabit Intel Ethernet Controllers offer high speed network access and Intel HD Graphics with support for DirectX 11, OCL 1.1 and OpenGL 3.2 provide access to dynamic visuals with unprecedented ease. Six COM ports, four USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, six high speed SATA connectors and a PCI port offers peripheral devices and storage connectivity options to suit the needs of virtually any application from industrial automation to defense systems.

The FWS-2250 Desktop 4 LAN ports Network Appliance is powered by an onboard SoC Intel Atom processor E3815 and up to 8GB DDR3(L) RAM. It boasts three USB ports for optimum connectivity and a 2.5" SATA HDD and CompactFlash™ socket for data storage and four Gigabit Ethernet ports for networking.  This durable network appliance takes advantage of the Atom processor’s low power/high performance capabilities to offer solid long term value to cost conscious SOHO businesses.

The GENE-BT05 3.5" SubCompact board sets new performance benchmarks in this category, with its SoC Intel Atomprocessor and DDR3L system memory at 1333MHz. This SBC is ideal for industrial automation control systems, and with its energy and space efficient form factor offers storage connectivity via two high speed SATA ports and a CFast interface. In addition to its 8-bit digital I/O, it also hosts three USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 ports for peripheral device connectivity and four COM ports for expansion. It can also include an optional 4/5/8-wire resistive Touch Screen Controller to use with the multi-display support via VGA, HDMI, eDP or LVDS. 

The COM-BT COM Express Basic Module Type 6 adds Intel SoC performance to its roster of powerful features. This robust module offers up to 4GB of Single-channel SODIMM DDR3L 1333 Memory and powerful connectivity via its high speed Gigabit Ethernet port with IEEE 1588 support. The COM-BT is poised for multimedia applications with its High Definition Audio Interface and multiple display options including VGA, DDI0 (shared with EDP), eDP, DDI1 (shared with LVDS), or up to 24 bits dual channel LVDS. This new COM module also offers TX/ RX, LPC bus, SMBus, I2C and EMMC expansion interfaces.
