SAN JOSE, Calif., June 15 / / -- A10 Networks(R) today announced its AX Series Application Acceleration Switch won Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo 2007 in the "Network Infrastructure (middle range)" category -- beating many competitors including F5's Big-IP 8400. The Best of Interop Tokyo judges unanimously selected A10's AX Series as the Grand Prix/Best of Interop winner for its revolutionary multi-CPU architecture, industry-leading performance, easy-to-use management tools, and the responsiveness A10's team of distinctive engineers.
The AX Series was also invited to be the only server load balancing device for the Interop Tokyo "Shownet," where it load balanced the "live" IPv4, IPv6 and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) traffic that was used by thousands of concurrent users at the event.
