A10 Networks' AX Series Wins Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo 2007

The AX Series Tops All Competition in Network Infrastructure Category

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 15 / / -- A10 Networks(R) today announced its AX Series Application Acceleration Switch won Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo 2007 in the "Network Infrastructure (middle range)" category -- beating many competitors including F5's Big-IP 8400. The Best of Interop Tokyo judges unanimously selected A10's AX Series as the Grand Prix/Best of Interop winner for its revolutionary multi-CPU architecture, industry-leading performance, easy-to-use management tools, and the responsiveness A10's team of distinctive engineers.

The AX Series was also invited to be the only server load balancing device for the Interop Tokyo "Shownet," where it load balanced the "live" IPv4, IPv6 and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) traffic that was used by thousands of concurrent users at the event.

This Best of Interop Tokyo win comes directly following the AX Series' Best of Interop Las Vegas award, and general availability announcement -- which is a rare distinction for any company. The AX Series is a next-generation server load balancer with a unique Advanced Core Operating System (ACOS) architecture, which leaps the incumbents in performance, reliability and scalability.

"We are honored to be the Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo winner with unanimous votes from all the judges. This should accelerate the momentum for the AX Series to be the industry leader in the Application Delivery Networking market," said Lee Chen, founder and CEO for A10 Networks. "In addition to the superior technology within the AX Series, this win can be attributed to the support of Bussan Networks (A10's partner in Japan), who worked in tandem with A10's engineers to get the AX Series running for the Shownet. With our AX Series, A10 Networks is giving the industry the high-performance tool that is required to properly leverage the Internet, today and tomorrow."
