Allard Europe NV has teamed up with Inductotherm again as their web site proclaims "a partnership for the future". Allard's latest 20 million Euros expansion plans include a new 4000kW VIP® Power-Trak® with a nominal 16 tonne capacity Heavy Steel Shell furnace.

This increases Allard's existing melt capacity in excess of 40 tonnes, utilizing the existing Inductotherm nominal 8 tonne and 2 tonne Steel Shell furnaces, coupled to a range of Inductotherm VIP® power supplies rated at 1000kW, 2500kW and 4000kW with the latest Melt-Manager® Plus® computer control system.

Allard is one of the most modern steel and iron producers in Europe, making high-level quality castings for the dredging and offshore specialist industries. The installed equipment includes load cells, Melt-Manager® Plus® computer control system, slag grabs, charge cars, full fume extraction, lining push-out - all the tools to make this an operator friendly and very efficient installation.

This is another example of the Inductotherm Heavy Steel Shell furnace becoming the tool of choice for today's large steel producers.
