A Clean, Flexible Alternative to Stainless Tubing - Ultra High Purity PFA

Fort Worth, TX – Parker Hannifin, the mobile leader in control technology, offers ultra high purity PFA tubing. This clean, flexible alternative to stainless steel is odorless, tasteless, non-leeching or absorptive and tubes are designed to handle high purity applications where high temperatures and/or corrosive applications cause extractables to outgas from plastics.  By selecting an ultra high purity PFA grade product, rather than a standard grade, the impurities in the tube are kept to the lowest possible level and the burst strength is increased.  In addition, with absorption of water less than 0.03%, Ultra High Purity PFA ensures that the media passing through the tube stays in the tube and doesn’t leech into the tubing wall, thus making cleaning and sanitizing quicker.

Ultra high purity PFA tubing is a lightweight alternative to Stainless that can route around sharp corners without kinking.  The tubing will not crack, degrade or discolor and operates in temperatures as high as 500°F (260°C).  The low refractive index allows operators to visually inspect for contaminants, flow interruptions and leak detection.  In addition, tubing can be reinforced with high performance braiding to handle higher pressures.   Braiding facilities are located on the premises.

Tubing sizes range from .010" ID up to 4" ID and tubing is extruded from Parkers Parflex Division in Fort Worth, Texas, through the TexLoc operation.  Tubes can be supplied in smoothbore or in an extra flexible convoluted or corrugated style.
