Original Press Release:

Unique Chassis Design of Model 8277 DB25 Switch Keeps Unit Securely in Place

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces Model 8277 DB25 A/B Network Switch that allows access to two networks from one computer or workstation quickly and easily via its front panel rotary switch.  This slim, desktop switch features mounting holes on the bottom casing for securing unit in a fixed location.  Also unique to this switch box is a rear panel chassis stud that accepts spade lug for secure grounding.

There is no need to plug and unplug cables with this A/B switch box, therefore no chance for network reconfiguration errors.  The Model 8277 is encased in an attractive anodized black box that provides EMI/RFI shielding and allows for secure mounting with its threaded inserts on bottom of chassis. The chassis is available without rubber feet and employs fixed threaded fasteners pressed/bonded to metal enclosure covers and panels to accept the use of machine screws and hardware. The threaded inserts on bottom of chassis are threaded for #6-32 hardware.  For more information about Model 8277, visit: http://www.electrostandards.com/ProductDetail/?productid=2474
