Introducing the Captivateâ„¢ Illuminated Mirror LED
Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, announced today that Hubbell Healthcare Solutions has commercially launched Captivate, an illuminated mirror solution.
Captivate is well-suited for a wide range of applications including healthcare, hospitality, commercial and residential. It is available in four standard sizes and three light color temperatures (all with a CRI > 80). Captivate is ADA compliant with a low-profile housing and can be dimmed with 0-10V controls.
The perimeter-etched panels are indirectly backlit to provide a uniform appearance and provide soft illumination that is ideal for facial rendering. The overall appearance is further enhanced with a brushed and rounded end treatment to the mirror edges that produces a consistent edge appearance and reduces nicking of the mirror.
To support patient safety, an optional integrated night light is mounted in the lower panel for low level illumination. The night light can be specified in either 3000K white or 590nm amber. The standard antimicrobial paint finishes helps inhibit the growth of microbes on the housing surface.
