CALGARY, Alberta - January 7, 2008 - Phidgets Inc. announced that the new Precision Temperature Sensor delivers 4 times more accurate results than the Temperature Sensor; the temperature range has also been incresed and the new Sensor measures ambient temperature from -50°C to +150°C.

"A lot of our users have been asking for a temperature sensor with lower noise and increased accuracy, and with this new product we now offer 2 temperature sensors allowing the user to choose the one that meets their requirements." says Chester Fitchett, CEO of Phidgets.

"We have decided to reduce the selling price of the 1114 - Temperature Sensor from $11.00 to $7.00 CAD - a 35% reduction, for all our customers who do not need the added accuracy ." added Bernard Rousseau, Director of Marketing.
