Bel Power Solutions & Protection, a Bel group company (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and premier global manufacturer of power management devices, announces the 500MBps HomePlug® AV, RGMII Bus open-frame Embedded Module. This is the next generation Powerline Communication solution which increases PHY bit rate up to 500Mbps.
The “Black Box” solution requires no external software, minimal peripheral components and enables customers to easily integrate Powerline Communications into their system via a standard 1.27mm pin header. The Module can be operated in PHY or MAC mode and is selectable via a simple pull up/down resistor. It provides dynamic channel adaptation and channel estimation that maximizes throughput in harsh channel conditions, and windowed OFDM with noise mitigation based on patented line synchronization techniques that improves data integrity in noisy conditions. Featuring 128-bit AES Link Encryption with key management, the Module ensures secure Powerline Communications. Solutions for both European and US markets are available.
