Lemko Corporation Launches EM-50 LTE Mini Solution for WISP and WiMax Operators to

ITASCA, Ill. -- Lemko Corporation, the leader in Virtualized Core Network OS for Super Mobility, launches the EM-50™ LTE Mini based on the 4G LTE ODC™ (On Demand Cellular) Solution with virtualized EPC and integrated eNodeB radio. This innovative 4G LTE solution takes advantage of Lemko's patented Distributed Mobile Wireless Network architecture that enables WISP and WiMax Operators to "Quick-Deploy 4 x Enhanced Capacity" Fixed Broadband with expanded coverage and capacity. The EM-50™ LTE Mini's virtualized EPC eliminates traditional OPEX barriers by creating the shortest possible communication path between subscribers while slashing the CAPEX costs for implementing LTE Nomadic and Mobile services.

Many WISPs are challenged when trying to grow beyond 50 users per site and expand their download speeds. With Lemko's EM-50™ LTE Mini Solution up to 200 users can be supported with improved coverage and shared peak download speeds of 150MB per second. This performance accelerates the ability for Operators to deploy commercial grade Small Cell LTE now, to expand their fixed wireless network client services offerings, leverage their MPLS backhaul infrastructures, surround their client Wi-Fi infrastructures for offloading, and launch new LTE services including video across Nomadic and Mobile deployments.

"The EM-50™ LTE Mini Solution is an example of a 2013 wireless disruption. It enables Operators to break into virtually every market and monetize enterprise services with more capacity on the same spectrum. The EM-50™ places a mobility anchor at the wireless mobile broadband network's edge, eliminating the need for data to traverse to a centralized core via tunneling. The self-enclosed unit includes the virtualized EPC and eNodeB and is ideally suited for both indoor and outdoor deployments," says Michael Sisto, Vice President Sales, Lemko.

The EM-50™ provides up to 10 watts of power and 20 MHz bandwidth in the LTE spectrum for extended coverage and data speeds, yet is compact enough to be deployed as a COW (Cellular-on-Wheels) in a small vehicle. Lemko's EM-50 LTE Mini Solution can operate autonomously as a complete, self-contained cellular and scalable network with hundreds of nodes to support the ability of WISPs to reach additional office buildings, retail stores, shopping centers and single family homes.
