GAO RFID Launches a Waterproof 433MHz Active RFID Wristband Tag
GAO RFID, a leading provider of RFID hardware, software, and systems across all RFID technologies, has announced the launch of another powerful offering from its vast collection of RFID products – the Waterproof 433MHz Active Wristband RFID Tag, a long range active tag suitable for harsh environments.
This tag can be attached to a person’s wrist and is encased in a waterproof watch-style casing. It has a long read range of 262 feet (80 meters) and can be awakened when in range with an RFID reader to broadcast its unique ID (conventional) or function as a beacon to continuously broadcast a signal. The tag comes with User-definable Tag’s Identifier (RW). It is ideal for applications such as personnel tracking and monitoring in healthcare, time attendance, security and other related applications.
This Waterproof 433MHz RFID Tag has IP 68 protection which means that it is protected from high pressure jets of water from any direction. It is powered by an internal battery, has a specific ID code for low level of battery, and has lifecycle of up to 10 years.
