PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 15, 2007 - HP today announced that 3M, a $22.9 billion diversified technology company, has purchased the HP Neoview data warehousing platform to enhance its global business intelligence capabilities.
After evaluating several offerings, 3M chose HP Neoview to provide the company with a comprehensive view of historical and real-time information to help make business decisions faster.
Neoview will enable integration and analysis of 3M's financial data, including the company's general ledger, so that 3M can react in near real time to everyday opportunities and threats.
