3-GIS Awarded Five-Year IT Schedule 70 GSA Contract


Contract lists 3-GIS with the governments' primary acquisition agency



DECATUR, Ala. -  Government agencies in need of any GIS support will now have an easier path to doing business with 3-GIS.  3-GIS, a global leading innovator of smart geospatial solutions, today announced it has been awarded a five-year United States General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 contract. 3-GIS' GSA contract, number GS-35-F288AA, allows 3-GIS to offer a comprehensive array of its GIS products, services and solutions to nearly 100 government entities.



The GSA contract enables 3-GIS to efficiently market its solutions listed in the GSA schedule contract directly to federal, state and local government agencies. A GSA schedule contract permits government agencies to purchase commercial goods and services using pre-negotiated terms and pricing with the purpose of significantly streamlining the procurement process for government customers.



"3-GIS currently provides geospatial information systems solutions to several government entities and organizations across the nation," said Tommy Siniard, chief technical officer for 3-GIS. "Securing the GSA contract is an important next step in our strategy for growth with government agencies."
