Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC , has released a UV LED Explosion Proof Light Kit including a portable hazardous location flashlight, rechargeable battery, hard case w/ foam insert, safety glasses and certification. The LED flashlight features a primary 7-watt ultraviolet spotlight and a 2 watt, 200 lumen flood light located on the side of the light and is ideal for hazardous locations such as dye detection, quality assurance, aerospace, military, and other inspections.
The 2SJJ01963-0002 explosion proof UV LED light kit from Larson Electronics is a powerful, portable flashlight that offers versatile lighting in hazardous locations and rugged environments. The unit comes with two illumination options: 7-watt ultraviolet spotlight and a 2-watt, 200 lumen light that emits cool white flood beam light. Both lighting options can be operated simultaneously or separately. The powerful, ultraviolet beam is under 400 nm with no traces of white light, and is non-strobing to the human eye. This intrinsically safe LED light is also dimmable. This light has a 5,000K color temperature, and dimmable feature and 5-hour continuous use per charge.
This explosion proof light kit comes with several safety features such as SOS strobe, rubber bump guards around the light head, center and end of the housing, for protection against rough handling and dropping. The unit has passed salt fog testing, which further reinforces its corrosion-resistant properties. Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, this LED spotlight provides 5 hours of runtime, with an operational lifespan of 50,000+ hours.
