AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 3, 2006 - Jeep® has selected Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires in size P215/65R17 as an original equipment fitment for the Jeep® 2007 Compass, a new compact SUV, which is now arriving at Jeep® dealerships.
The Jeep® Compass combines the packaging and functionality of an SUV with the performance, handling, fuel economy and price of a compact car or small pickup. Compass is the Jeep® brand's first front-wheel-drive-based product with a fully independent suspension for comfortable on-road ride and handling and fun-to-drive characteristics. Jeep® Compass is available in both front- and four-wheel drive, in Sport and Limited models.
The Wrangler SR-A is a tire that features all-terrain traction and on-highway quiet. Its aggressive tread pattern is also designed for a smooth, quiet ride.
