1stWorks Joins SWsoft's Parallels Partner Program
Remote Access Software Now Available to Mac Users
RENTON, Wash. - November 28th, 2007 - SWsoft, maker of Parallels award-winning virtualization software, announced today that 1stWorks Corporation has joined the Parallels Partner Program. 1stWorks will leverage the program's ISV Initiative to deliver its Files2Phones software to Mac users for the first time.
1stWorks' Files2Phones is a powerful desktop application that enables an Apple iPhone to function as a real-time remote control for the computer - securely, using encryption to protect your data in transit. Any application or file type, document, presentation, spreadsheet, CAD drawing, even a custom application - any application that can be opened on the desktop can now be viewed, controlled and updated remotely from the iPhone while the original data stays securely on the PC.
Via the Parallels ISV Initiative, Files2Phones is now available to the Mac community through the use of SWsoft desktop virtualization software, Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac.
The ISV Initiative is designed to enable Windows platform software vendors to quickly and easily extend their reach to the fast-growing Mac market by taking advantage of Parallels virtualization software for Windows and Mac OS X. Software vendors receive streamlined application compatibility testing, technical support, sales support and co-marketing opportunities. The Parallels Partner Program provides customized access, tools and resources to technology, services and channel partners that enable them to drive customer acquisition and revenue.
