LGI Technology Proudly Announces the Launch of the New 170 Lumen Per Watt LED T8 Lamp.

This new LED T8 is the latest additions to the Los Angeles-based, commercialgrade LED manufacturer’s LED line up.

There are many LED T8 lamps in the market however efficiency is not always on top of producers list, in most cases price is the selling point and efficiency and quality is compromised.

In a typical situation most 32W T8 fluorescents are replaced with an 18W LED and in the best cases with a 14W. The consumption of this new tube is only 10W and it produced 1700 Lumens, lowering the best case consumption by 30% and tremendously lowering the ROI of a retrofit project.

“We have been able to accomplish this by using high quality Samsung LED’s and a proprietary driver” Product Manager Rob Setian said. “most of our competitors use low quality LED’ and overdrive them to get maximum performance, on this product we have used more LED’s and under drove them for optimum performance, quality, and lifetime”.

Available in 4000K or 5000K, 2-foot or 4-foot version. ETL certified with DLC pending. This product is currently in production and will be available in the market January 2017.
