The 14/16 port converter rack boasts a slim, space-saving 2U design and 14 or 16 slots for modular media converters.Modules are hot-pluggable avoiding network down time and optionally support 8.3/125,8.7/125 or 10/125μm single-mode.The integrated converter provides for efficient, intelligent management and monitoring of critical connections,and since each channel operates independently new modules can be added as required and this flexibility enables the unit to develop with networks. Both the 14 and 16 port converters conform to IEEE802.3u 10/100Base-TX,and 100Base-FX standards.
