Wrapping Up 2018 With Holiday Sourcing Trends

In this week’s special holiday edition of the Thomas Index Report, we’re going to take a look at sourcing activity for a range of products that you may not readily associate with an industrial product sourcing and supplier selection platform like Thomasnet.com.

Over the past four weeks, our data has shown some very interesting sourcing activity in the categories of Candles, Gift Boxes, Wrapping Paper, and Ribbons & Bows. We’ve seen increased interest and activity for Tree Ornaments, Wreaths, Artificial Snow, and Model Trains.

You might be surprised to learn that there are numerous suppliers of Sleigh Jingle Bells on Thomasnet.com, as well as suppliers for Toys, Gifts, and Soot Removers. We’ve seen sourcing activity in each of these categories, with our firmographic buyer data showing that a great deal of this sourcing activity came from an area at a latitude of approximately 90° North…

Hey, whatever holidays you celebrate this time of year, Thomas sends our warmest season's greetings, and we’re wishing you a happy, safe, and prosperous new year.

Thanks so much for watching, and I’ll see you again in 2019!
