A Wisconsin plastics manufacturer recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility that will more than double the company’s production space.
Redline Plastics plans to move to the nearly 118,000-square-foot facility on Manitowoc, Wisconsin’s far southwest side from its current home just more than 1 mile to the east. The $12.5 million project is expected to create 40 new jobs over the next three years.
Company officials added that the more than 11-acre site could accommodate another 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space should the company need to expand further.
“Manitowoc is a wonderful community, and we are excited to continue our growth and investment in the community and its people,” Redline Vice President of Operations Nick Murray said in a statement.
The company, which currently employs 100 workers, expects to complete the project by November.
Redline, which was renamed after Dowco Inc. sold off its marine segment last year, provides rotational molding and vacuum forming services for a variety of industries, and designs and produces textile and leather products for powersports vehicles.
