Mouser Electronics, Grant Imahara Present New “All Things IoT” Series

Electronic component distributor Mouser Electronics, Inc. recently collaborated with engineer and TV personality Grant Imahara to launch a new video series called “All Things IoT,” which explores the ways in which the Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming how people live, communicate, and work. The series is the latest chapter in Mouser’s Empowering Innovation Together program, which started in 2015.

“IoT is poised to change how we interact with our environment, from small corners of our homes to massive urban spaces,” said Glenn Smith, president and CEO of Mouser Electronics. “These innovative technologies will make our lives easier and more comfortable while helping to significantly improve the environment on multiple levels.”

“IoT and Industrial IoT will be true game changers that save time and significant amounts of money for individuals and companies alike,” echoed Imahara. “I anticipate that most every home, office and city will be fully connected in our children's lifetimes.”

Aside from “All Things IoT,” Mouser’s Empowering Innovation Together program has investigated a number of other high-tech topics, including robotics, driverless cars, and smart cities. Their aim is to educate a broad audience about a wide array of disruptive and innovative technologies as well as how these technologies are currently being used.
