This month, Bastian Solutions, an Indianapolis-based material handling and robotics company, officially opened its new advanced manufacturing center in the city’s suburbs.
Bastian Solutions’ Advanced Manufacturing Facility
The company, which provides automated manufacturing, distribution, and fulfillment center solutions, said the Westfield, Indiana, facility will house its growing advanced manufacturing operation and office space across some 90,000 square feet. The center is expected to create up 87 new jobs by next year.
Westfield Mayor Andy Cook said the facility establishes the city as a site for international development, while company officials called it a catalyst for its continued expansion.
“We look forward to creating local jobs and reinforcing that Westfield and the state of Indiana are ideal locations for investment in advanced manufacturing,” Bastian Solutions CEO Michael Romano said in a statement.
A subsidiary of Toyota Advanced Logistics, Bastian Solutions also operates sites in Evansville, Fort Wayne, and Greenfield, Indiana, among its 20 U.S. offices.
