Members of the element14 community are now able to have private discussions and post private documents, see previews of documents created with Microsoft Office®. These enhancements follow comprehensive user feedback into the features and capabilities that are most important to global electronic design engineers.

Private Discussions and Documents

Engineers now have their own private workspace where they can create confidential discussions and view and share documents with only the participants they choose. Furthermore, if they are working on a project with a remote partner, they can use their private space to store, collaborate, share and message with them.

Rich Document Preview

The new document preview allows users immediate access to rich technical content from around the world covering all the technologies and manufacturers on element14. As users search for answers, the new preview mode displays documents immediately without the need to open attachments. Users can now also collaborate and easily share feedback on any document by leaving comments and notes, significantly improving user collaboration.
