Centrify Gets Linux Mint-y Fresh; Announces First Free Commercial Active Directory-Based Single Sign-on for Linux Mint 12



SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Feb. 29, 2012 - Centrify Corporation, the leading provider of security and compliance solutions that centrally control, secure and audit access to cross-platform systems, mobile devices and applications using Active Directory, today announced that its Centrify Express 2012 for Linux offering now supports the recently released Linux Mint 12 operating system with Active Directory-based authentication for users of the latest Linux Mint OS.

Linux Mint delivers a modern, elegant and comfortable operating system which is powerful and easy to use for organizations and home users. The Linux Mint project focuses on making the desktop more efficient for everyday tasks performed by regular users. Available at no cost, it is built upon mature software layers, including the Linux kernel. Linux Mint relies on the Ubuntu and Debian projects - operating systems also supported by Centrify - and utilizes Ubuntu and Debian systems as a base.
