Woolpert Hires McClurkin as EIM Project Director


PORTSMOUTH, Va. (December 4, 2007)... Woolpert, Inc. recently hired Kirk McClurkin, GISP, PLS-GISS, as an enterprise information management (EIM) project director in the firm's Portsmouth office.

McClurkin joins Woolpert with more than 18 years of experience in enterprise asset management (EAM), GIS and IT projects in the municipal planning, transportation, engineering, public utilities, public works, photogrammetry and surveying/GPS capacities. His expertise spans all aspects of project design, cost estimation, business development and client relations.

"Kirk's extensive experience developing, implementing and integrating full-service EAM, GIS and IT solutions for the municipal and private sectors will bring an added level of expertise as we provide our clients with complete enterprise information management resources," said Scott Cattran, Woolpert vice president and EIM director.

McClurkin is currently a member of several professional organizations including the Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA), American Water Works Association (AWWA) and American Public Works Association (APWA). He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management and a Master of City and Regional Environmental Planning from Clemson University.
