The medium production 13 Series Finish Grinding Wood Hammer Mill from Schutte-Buffalo Hammermill is available in four standard models with infeed sizes ranging from 13" to 36". Each model features a built-in material handling fan mounted on the main mill shaft. A fifth 48"model is also available with an optional separately driven fan.
At 3600 RPM, the 24" diameter rotor produces a high hammer tip speed. Choice of numerous of hammer styles and screen sizes insure the exact desired finished particle size in just one pass. The 13 Series is suitable for finish grinding a wide variety of dry and green wood waste for pelletizing, briquetting, animal bedding, landscape mulch and more. Each mill is custom configured to meet material requirements and production goals.
