WIN-911 Software Announces Release of SCADAlarm Conversion Utility

AUSTIN, Texas, -- WIN-911 Software, the world's largest provider of alarm notification software, has announced the availability of a new utility designed to help migrate configuration and tag data from the popular SCADAlarm software into the WIN-911 software package. This means that SCADAlarm users can easily convert to WIN-911 without having start from scratch. The conversion utility works with the WIN-911 PRO and Basic packages.

Once configured, WIN-911 Software utilizes a direct data connection to Wonderware InTouch. This allows for seamless integration, two-way acknowledgements, dynamic alarm subscriptions and ease of maintenance.

Frank Grygier, WIN-911's Vice President of Sales, stated, "The SCADAlarm to WIN-911 conversion utility is designed to import operators, contacts, groups, servers and supported tags from a current SCADAlarm configuration and allows users to save their project in a valid WIN-911 format."  He continued, "WIN-911 supports all the latest Windows operating systems and options for alarm notification including Voice, 2-way SMS, email, paging, and the ability to add the power and convenience of smartphone and tablet apps.  Users will also have access to world-class support to get their project up and running."
