Whitford Announces Worldwide Management Change

Elverson, PA.– Whitford Worldwide, manufacturer of the world’s largest, most complete line of fluoropolymer coatings (nonstick and decorative) for industrial and con- sumer industries, has announced a change in its worldwide management structure.

At a recent Board of Directors meeting, Anne Willis was unanimously elected to the positions of president and chief executive officer of the worldwide company. Ms. Willis had been Whitford’s manager of Europe for the past 24 years, as well as head of the Global Management Team.

Dave Willis, founder and president of Whitford for 50 years, moves to chairman of the board.

Said Dave Willis: “I’m about to turn 80, and it was time for the next logical step in the company’s growth. Anne has proven her talents in the tough European markets, and I have every confidence that she is more than ready for the increased responsibilities. She is now in charge of the business, so I can work fewer hours and cut my travel schedule way back. Nevertheless, I will be available to consult with Anne whenever she wishes.”

Anne Willis said, “I’ve got quite an act to follow, but given the worldwide management team we have in place, and the new technologies we’re announcing, I have no doubt we will continue the remarkable growth that Whitford has enjoyed for many years.”
