Wendy S. Schlett of GZA GeoEnvironmental Promoted to Senior Project Manager
GRAND RAPIDS, MI AND NORWOOD MA...ISSUED JUNE 21, 2011... GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Wendy S. Schlett has been promoted to Senior Project Manager at GZA GeoEnvironmental's Grand Rapids, MI office.
A resident of Grand Rapids, MI, Schlett joined GZA in November of 2008 as a Project Manager, focusing on sustainability, environmental compliance and auditing, regulatory permitting, due diligence and hydrogeologic site investigations.
Prior to joining GZA, Schlett was General Manager of KW Environmental, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI. Previously she worked as a Senior Project Manager with Envirologic Technologies, Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI with an emphasis on sustainability assessment and facilitation, environmental management system facilitation, training and implementation, hydrogeologic investigations and remediation.
Schlett earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hydrogeology from Western Michigan University. She maintains a Storm Water Management Industrial Site A-1i certification; received a Professional Certificate from the Center of Sustainability, Aquinas College; and is Accredited ISO14001/96 Lead Auditor Trained.
Schlett is a member of the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association; the Industrial Minerals Association - North America; the Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers where she is presently Secretary of the Sustainability Committee; the Michigan Aggregate Association; the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum; and the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.
