Weinberg Named Southwest Regional Sales Manager for Leviton's Lighting Management Systems


Melville, New York, August 31, 2010 - Leviton is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeffrey Weinberg to the position of Southwest Regional Sales Manager for the company's Lighting Management Systems. In his new post, Weinberg will lead the expansion of the company's full line of energy management systems throughout the Pacific Southwest, one of the largest markets for lighting energy management systems domestically.

Weinberg began his career with the company in 1997 as a sales representative with American Insulated Wire (AIW), a Leviton subsidiary. There he grew sales of AIW wire and cable products. Later he went on to represent Leviton's OEM solutions business where he grew lampholder revenue in the hydroponic industry and increase sales of the company's GFCI devices and wireless lighting and appliance control products.

In 2006, Weinberg joined Leviton's Lighting Management Systems business, where he worked to expand the market for the company's wide range of energy management systems and devices. Weinberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Arizona, and currently resides in Mission Viejo, California.
