Weiler Abrasives Group Announces Expansion of U.S. Operations
Production from facility in China will move to company’s Cresco location
CRESCO, Pa. — July 17, 2018 — Weiler Abrasives Group, a leading provider of abrasives, power brushes and maintenance products for surface conditioning, will expand operations at its Cresco facility as a result of investments in lean manufacturing and factory automation that opened space and capacity at the location.
The move allows Weiler to consolidate its power brush manufacturing operations. Due to this consolidation, Weiler will close its manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China, and transition production to the Cresco location over the coming months.
