Weathermax Designs Fabric Exclusive to Keyston Bros.

Looking to expand even further into the awning market, Keyston Bros. knew it needed an exceptional product to help grow its business in that direction. As a carrier of Safety Components' WeatherMax 80, FR and LT fabrics, Keyston wanted to design a new product to set their business apart. The result is a one-of-a-kind linen line of WeatherMax FR fabric, available in Slate, Sandstone, Oyster, Chocolate and Black. Terra Cotta is currently in development.
"With the linen line, Keyston will target the fabric awning market," said Dennis Bueker, VP of awning division, Keyston Bros. "We knew WeatherMax FR was a good fabric, known for performance, and we wanted to offer something that the other suppliers didn't have. The linen line has a texture finish, adding a richness to the fabric and setting this line apart from the original WeatherMax FR. The new line gives Keyston more options to offer customers."
"FR fabric is needed in many commercial awning applications. The market has been looking for and asking for something different. We feel we will have that with Weathermax FR," said Bueker.
WeatherMax FR is a superior solution-dyed, fire-retardant fabric designed for awnings, tents and other outdoor applications. It utilizes tightly woven SaturaMax yarns for unmatched dimensional stability and is guaranteed to retain its rich color for at least five years. Providing superior water resistance, WeatherMax FR has twice the strength and six times the abrasion resistance of acrylic fabrics.
