Watlow Names Scott Voumard Global Demand and Operations Planning Manager
St. Louis - Watlow, a leading designer and manufacturer of heaters, controllers and temperature sensors, recently announced the appointment of Scott Voumard to global demand and operations planning manager. In this role, he will be focused on developing world-class supply chain/materials management processes and insuring that these processes are implemented and applied consistently across Watlow. He will report directly to Tom LaMantia, chief operating officer.
Voumard's position will focus on demand management and forecasting, capacity planning, material planning, revenue planning and inventory planning - all of which are incorporated in the sales and operations planning process. He will also take the lead on material replenishment systems development in support of the TQMS acceleration implementation. In addition, he will serve as a member of the Global Leadership Team (GLT), and will have functional responsibility for the global materials management team.
Prior to this position Voumard was the customer acquisition and retention quality manager, and the global sourcing manager for Watlow. Prior to Watlow, Voumard held a variety of positions in supplier management and engineering at Boeing.
Voumard holds an MBA from Washington University, and a BS in aerospace engineering from Parks College of St. Louis University.
