Watlow Names Sam Sked Co-Director of North American Sales


St. Louis - Watlow, a leading designer and manufacturer of heaters, controllers, and temperature sensors, recently announced the appointment of Sam Sked to co-director of North American sales. Sked will report directly to Chris Eichmann, vice president of sales.

In this position, Sked will assist Tom Desloge in supporting the field sales force and being an advocate for their needs within the company. He will also have responsibility for growth in the western half of the North American market.

Prior to joining Watlow, Sked worked for Noran Instruments as managing director for Western Europe. He held the position of director of sales for CyberOptics, a manufacturer of non-contact process control sensors used in the manufacture of SMT circuit boards. He most recently was the global accounts manager for Kurz-Kasch, Inc., a manufacturer of solenoids and electronic sensing devices. In addition to his experience in Europe, Sked helped establish manufacturing facilities in Suzhou, China, and Campinas, Brazil.

Sked is a graduate of DeVry Institute.
