Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission Issues Extension for Avista and Hydro One Merger Decision

TORONTO and SPOKANE, WA, July 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Hydro One Limited ("Hydro One") (TSX: H) and Avista Corporation ("Avista") (NYSE: AVA) today received notice from the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (the "Commission") that it has extended the deadline for a decision on the proposed merger between Hydro One and Avista by four months to December 14, 2018.
