Global IP Surveillance Solution Provider Strengthens Relationship with PlateSmart
SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 3, 2019 – VIVOTEK (TWSE: 3454), the global leading IP surveillance solution provider, had been availing itself with PlateSmart Technologies’ award-winning PlateSmart ARES® automatic license plate recognition (LPR) software integration. It recently strengthened that relationship with another PlateSmart integration: Powered by PlateSmart™.

Built upon AI and deep machine learning, Powered by PlateSmart was developed to allow providers to easily extend their solutions to include the vehicle data PlateSmart can provide. This includes the license plate, its state jurisdiction, vehicle make, and color. Soon, Powered by PlateSmart will be able to address vehicle orientation (front, rear, or side) and type for even more actionable vehicle data.
