Vista makes an impact in Siberia

Crossing the Ural mountains for the first time, Vista equipment stole the show at the recent 14th International Exhibition of Security Equipment and Technologies (SibSecurity 2005).

Russian distributor OKNO-Professional Security Systems presented a wide range of technologies on the exhibition's biggest-ever stand.
The Siberian Fair took place in Novosibirsk between 13 and 15 September 2005. OKNO-Professional Security Systems made a presentation about Vista's CCTV equipment, with support from Vista in the UK.
The stand covered 60m2 - the first time in SibSecurity history that such a large area has been devoted to one brand - and highlighted Russia's most popular and essential cameras, digital recorders, monitors and other innovative solutions.
Engineers and managers from OKNO-Professional Security Systems reported intense interest from exhibition visitors, fulfilling their role by explaining the technical features and advantages of Vista CCTV solutions.
Most of the video sources at the show were connected to monitors via Vista Matrix 16x4 or directly to Vista TriplexT Columbus DVRs, both 16 and four-channel models.
Two Vista eclipseT ceiling and wall solutions were shown, with keyboard and 17in colour monitors, and all models of the vandal-resistant camera range - domes, as well as corner and ceiling mounted versions.
All models of the bullet cameras - both standard and with vario-lens, were exhibited, alongside Power Dome cameras with keyboard, the well-respected Protos 3 camera range, the VC2000 series and camera kits. Practically the entire Vista lens range was on show, as was an extensive range of colour monitors, through 9in, 15in, 17in and 20in.
Each of the three thousand visitors to the Vista stand received souvenirs and a booklet in Russian, detailing the wide range of Vista CCTV equipment and components.
The VISTA stand received excellent marks from the Siberian Fair administration and was awarded the prize for the best stand at the SibSecurity 2005.
OKNO-Professional Security Systems' General Manager Boris Aristarkhov says: 'There is as much interest in CCTV in Russia as in the west, and this exhibition proves that Siberia is no exception. With Vista's reputation for robustness and value for money it is no surprise that the stand was so popular. We are keen to translate this welcome interest into sales, to prove to Siberia that our solutions really are as good as they look.'
