Viscom Receives SMT China Vision Excellence Award for AOI
Shanghai – Viscom AG, a leading manufacturer of highly precise and efficient inspection systems for the electronics industry, is pleased to announce that it was awarded the 2015 SMT China Vision Excellence Award in the category of Inspection Testing – AOI for its S3088ultra 3D AOI system. The award was presented to the company during an April 21, 2015 ceremony at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Convention Center during NEPCON China. The S3088ultra received the SMT China Vision Excellence Award for earning the top score in the AOI category.
The S3088ultra combines the flexibility of Viscom’s AOI S3088 family and it’s “FastFlow” high-speed board exchange technology with the strengths of the XM-3D high-performance camera module, which enables the system to achieve unprecedented inspection speed and quality. More than twice as fast as the predecessor systems of the S3088 family, it also offers the most advanced 3D-measurement technology.
The XM-3D sensor head features a programmable integrated structured light projector for image fields of up to nine views combined with multiple lightings and projections. This permits exact 3D analysis of lifted leads, surface chips or IC coplanarity defects in the full field of view and a height range of 25mm.
