Louisville--Verti-Lift, a designer and manufacturer of ergonomic lifting equipment will shift all manufacturing in-house to Louisville, Kentucky. Verti-Lift manufacturers a complete line of standard products including Scissor Lift Tables, Turn Tables, Tilt Tables, and Custom material handling solutions.
"This move now allows us to have our engineering and manufacturing capabilities together and under one roof," said John Spicer, engineering manager. "Additionally, this enhances Verti-Lift's quality control and increases our capabilities for building custom ergonomic lifting equipment". It is the company's goal to outsource all purchased components from vendors located in Kentucky.
Logistically this move improves Verti-Lift's ability to better serve their customers located in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee and other states. "This also gives us a competitive advantage in these marketing areas and a significant savings in freight that we can now pass onto our clientele," said Wayne Dodge, National Sales Manager. "We are able to offer free freight on several of our products to areas within 200 miles of Louisville".
The twenty year old company has twenty employees and is a non-union shop. The company's manufacturing facility is located at 1350 South 15th Street in Louisville, Kentucky.
