Creston, IA - The Vanmark Series 1400 Even Feeder Conveyor provides positive elevation and consistent metering of product such as potatoes, fruits, or vegetables into process equipment. The feeder eliminates costly processing inefficiencies due to wide variations in process flow rates that can starve or clog process equipment and lead to poor peeler performance down the line. Vanmark's unique "five-sided corners" and round outlet inside the hopper reduces bridging, prevents product trapping and ensures efficient product flow.
Processors benefit from the feeder's first-in, first-out product flow that prevents product spoilage. The low profile and spacing of belt flights as well as the upward conveyor angle are engineered to create a single layer of product across the width of the conveyor, effectively eliminating one of the most common causes of inconsistent peel removal in peeler feed applications. The conveyor angle can be easily adjusted for a wide variety of products to optimize performance.
Rugged stainless steel welded construction with rounded and sloped surfaces ensures long life and better sanitation. A rubber chute and internal discharge flap minimize product damage and reduce noise for more efficient, quiet operation.
The even feeder can be easily integrated into any process line and feed rates can be adjusted to fit production requirements. Flow rates range from 600 to over 20,000 lbs/hr (270 to 9,000 kg/hr) for maximum production. A variety of belt types and three standard hopper sizes are available.
