VERICUT 6.0 Includes 'Showroom' of Popular Machines and Controls

(Irvine, California - Wednesday, October 25, 2006) - CGTech, the leader in CNC simulation and optimization software technology, has responded to requests from customers by including an enhanced library of machines and controls with VERICUT® software. CGTech Software Developers and Technical Support Engineers from around the world have been meeting to update and create new example machine/control configurations. The result of these collaborative meetings is a new 'Showroom' that is distributed with VERICUT 6.0.

A significant amount of effort concentrated on updating and adding new functionality for the most popular controls: Siemens 840D, Heidenhain 530 and Mill-Plus, Fanuc and Mazak. "A control configuration is like plumbing in a house," said Product Marketing Manager Bill Hasenjaeger. "You don't think about it when it works, but see the effects quickly when something goes wrong."

The Showroom is automatically created during VERICUT 6.0 installation. While some configurations may still require customization, the Showroom projects provide an excellent starting point for those wishing to quickly simulate the complex kinematics of a CNC machine similar to their own. The showroom includes sample projects and machine models from several leading Machine Tool Manufactures including DMG, Fadal, Haas, Hermle, Makino, Mazak, Mori Seiki, and Okuma.
