Vandaveer Appointed Vice President Sales, Retail Packaging
TimBar Packaging Display has named Kevin Vandaveer Vice President Sales, Retail Packaging. Kevin will be responsible for leading a sales team that will develop market opportunities for micro-flute litho lam, rigid box and folding carton in both paper and plastic that are manufactured by TimBar facilities located in Hanover and New Oxford, Pennsylvania.
“Kevin has significant leadership experience and retail packaging knowledge that is extremely important as we expand our presence in this marketplace”, said Matt Heleva, President/CEO. He added, “With the acquisition of Hanover Packaging, TimBar is now able to offer customers a broader spectrum of retail packaging. This, coupled with our point-of-purchase display manufacturing and fulfillment capabilities, enable TimBar to deliver total turn-key merchandising solutions to our customers”.
During his 10 years with TimBar, Kevin has held several positions of increasing responsibility as Manufacturing Manager and GM of the Micro-flute litho lam business segment. Since moving into sales, he has a proven record of consistent revenue growth and was named TimBar’s Sales Manager of the Year in 2010. Prior to TimBar, Kevin held manufacturing management positions with Union Camp and a sales position with PCA. Kevin graduated from College of the Ozarks and earned a BS in Graphic Arts.  He also has a MBA from Shippensburg University. “I’m very excited about the opportunities and capabilities the acquisition of Hanover Packaging affords for both businesses”, stated Vandaveer
