Valmont Acquires American Galvanizing Company
OMAHA, Neb. –Â Valmont Industries, Inc. (NYSE: VMI), a leading global manufacturer of engineered products and services for infrastructure, and mechanized irrigation equipment for agriculture, and a provider of coatings services, announced today the acquisition of American Galvanizing Company of Folsom, New Jersey. This increases Valmont Coatings' network to 33 facilities located in 6 countries around the world.
American Galvanizing Company is a leader in hot-dip galvanizing in the Northeast United States. They have earned a highly respected reputation within the industry for excellent customer service and the high quality of their work. Well established for over 30 years, American Galvanizing provides corrosion protection services to structural steel fabricators and steel manufacturers throughout the Northeast region. With this acquisition, Valmont Coatings expands its business into this important market.
