Vaisala at the World Climate Conference 3


(Helsinki, Finland, August 28, 2009) Vaisala, global leader of environmental measurement, will present the latest developments in its field at the World Climate Conference 3 (WCC3) in Geneva, Switzerland on 31 August to 4 September 2009.

The company CEO together with industry experts will discuss Vaisala's vision and strategies and introduce a new innovation to bring unique advantages to the world's meteorological institutions and other weather-dependent users, and offer new information for climate change research.

"In January this year, we announced the development of a reference radio sonde for the use of climate change study. We are pleased to be in Geneva to again share the latest developments in environmental measurement that will help our customers and the scientists all over the world to better understand the changing environment," says Kjell Forsén, the President and CEO of Vaisala.

WCC3 visitors will be able to experience the latest environmental measurement technologies and learn about Vaisala's solutions and offering at the conference stand number 13, located in level 0.
