UTStarcom Selects Motorola AdvancedTCA Communications Servers
Helps Decrease Infrastructure Costs and Improve Time-to-market of Next-generation IP-based Multi-service Platform
TEMPE, Ariz., April 9, 2007 // -- UTStarcom, Inc. and Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced that UTStarcom has selected Motorola's AdvancedTCA(R) (ATCA(R)) communications servers as a carrier-grade common platform for the company's top selling mSwitch(R) IP-based multi-service platforms. UTStarcom expects that the latest open standard ATCA technology from Motorola will help enable it to deliver cost-effective, scalable and highly available solutions to network operators in Asia and worldwide.
