UPM Rafsec Announces the Appointment of New Area Sales Manager

UPM Rafsec, a leading RFID tag and inlay manufacturer announces today the appointment of Didier Monchot to Area Sales Manager, South Europe.
Effective October 10, 2005, Didier Monchot is responsible for expanding UPM Rafsec's business in the Southern European area, with a particular focus on France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. He is based in Nancy, France, where he has been working since 1995 for UPM Rafsec's sister company Raflatac.
"Didier Monchot will play a significant role in our sales structure, supporting our local customers with his expertise in RFID labels and product labeling in general", comments Marcus Vaenerberg, Vice President of Sales, UPM Rafsec. "His previous experience at Raflatac, most recently as the Marketing Manager, Retail-Transport, has enabled him to acquire an in-depth understanding of the evolution of the market towards smart, RFID-based solutions. His track record in establishing rewarding and long lasting relationships with customers in the retail and transportation industries, as well as with system integrators, will be of great assistance to UPM Rafsec in building important new connections with local partners and clients."
In his new position at UPM Rafsec, Didier will report to Marcus Vaenerberg, Vice President of Sales.
