Updated MAQ®20 Brochure Now Available from Dataforth
Dataforth has just published a new, updated brochure describing the high performance MAQ20 industrial data acquisition and control system. The 4-page document provides an overview of the MAQ20 system and all current MAQ20 modules. In addition, it describes the Dataforth PID loop controller and the two software systems offered with the MAQ20: the advanced, intuitive IPEmotion data acquisition/test and measurement software and the out-of-the-box ReDAQ Shape software.
The MAQ20 is designed for a wide range of rugged industrial data acquisition and control applications including test and measurement, factory and process automation, machine automation, military and aerospace, power and energy, oil and gas, and environmental monitoring.

The MAQ20 system consists of a family of DIN rail mounted, programmable, multi-channel signal conditioning input and output modules and communications modules. Modules mount on the industry standard 35x7.5mm gull-wing DIN rail; a backbone mounts within the rail to provide power and communication interconnections between the communications modules and each I/O module.
The system offers the lowest cost per channel, as well as 0.035% accuracy, 1500Vrms channel-to-bus isolation, up to 240Vrms continuous field I/O protection, and ANSI/IEEE C37.90.1 transient protection. Input power is from 7 to 34VDC; overload and reverse protection are provided on the power input terminals. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C. Product integrity is ensured by a 48-hour factory burn-in at 85°C.
In addition to the communications modules, MAQ20 modules include analog input modules voltage, current and thermocouple; RTD and potentiometer; strain gage, and frequency analog output voltage and current modules, and discrete input/output modules.
