SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 10 -- Universal Protection Service, a leading privately held security company, announced on Friday, September 7, its acquisition of Ligouri Associates, Inc. A regional security service provider in northern California, Ligouri Associates, Inc., was previously headquartered in Napa, California.

Following the acquisition Universal Protection Service will staff over 6,000 security professionals nationwide and have reported revenues in excess of $180 million annually.
