The event is a unique opportunity to obtain quality advice in a relaxed and informal setting. A presentation by the UK Intellectual Property Office will focus on the intellectual property system and the benefits of protecting your business's intellectual assets. ITMA and CIPA will also deliver a short presentation about their role in the intellectual property field.

Speaking about the latest UK Intellectual Property Office initiative Barry Treves, President of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys said;

"For many years the UK Intellectual Property Office has worked very hard to enhance the awareness and understanding of the intellectual property system throughout the UK. This worthwhile activity benefits not only individual users of the system but also the economy as a whole which is why the Institute is delighted to lend its support to this campaign".

Philip Harris, President of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, said;

"ITMA is totally supportive of moves to increase awareness of Intellectual Property (IP) in the UK and I am pleased that so many of our members are supporting the regional events by offering free consultations. I wish the venture every success."
