U.S. Ambassador to Singapore David Adelman Visits Pelican Products

TORRANCE, CA - (October 22, 2010) - As part of a 5-city tour, United States Ambassador to Singapore David Adelman recently toured Pelican Product's 200,000 square foot Torrance-based facility and met with senior executives to discuss Singapore as a gateway to Asia and Pelican's prospects and activities in the region.

Ambassador Adelman was confirmed as the United States Envoy To Singapore in March 2010. Prior to his appointment he served as a Democratic member of the Georgia State Senate, representing the 42nd District from 2002 to 2010 where he was Minority Whip. Adelman holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1986, a JD from Emory University in 1989 and an MPA from Georgia State University in 1995.

Scott Ermeti was recently appointed by United States Secretary of Commerce, Gary Locke as a member of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Aerospace Equipment (ITAC 1). The ITAC 1 is comprised of representatives from a broad cross-section of the aerospace sector which includes trade associations as well as aviation vehicle and equipment manufacturers. Its mission is to advise the Department of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative on international trade policy and other related matters.
