U.K. Court Sanctions Scheme of Arrangement for SurfControl


Acquisition Expected to Close on October 3, 2007

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 2 / -- Websense, Inc. (NASDAQ:WBSN) today announced that the High Court of Justice of England and Wales has sanctioned the Scheme of Arrangement to implement the recommended offer for SurfControl plc by Websense SC Operations Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Websense, Inc.

It is expected that the Effective Date of the Scheme will be October 3, 2007. A further announcement will be made to confirm that the Scheme has become effective on this date.
